🤓 ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

The Marketing Operations & Automation Specialist is responsible for building, optimizing and maintaining MEDSIR’s marketing infrastructure to enable scalable, data-driven growth in the oncology research space.

This role owns CRM, lead scoring, automation workflows, campaign performance tracking, and the optimization of digital channels to support the unit strategic goal: generate and convert high-quality leads for clinical research collaborations.

This position works closely with the Global Communications & Marketing Manager, the Marketing & Comms Trainee, Business Development Unit, and external digital agencies to ensure alignment and operational efficiency across all marketing initiatives.

🚀 HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE:

1. CRM & Marketing Automation

  • Own MEDSIR’s CRM structure, including pipelines, workflows, automations and segmentation strategies.

  • Design, implement and optimize nurturing sequences for different audiences (pharma, biotech, researchers, partners).

  • Maintain lead scoring models and continuously improve qualification accuracy (MQL → SQL → BD).

  • Ensure data quality, tagging, attribution and compliance across the entire CRM.

  • Collaborate with BD to ensure alignment between marketing and commercial funnels.

  • Implement A/B testing, automated triggers and behavioural tracking.

2. Digital Performance & Lead Generation Operations

  • Coordinate always‑on lead generation activities with external digital agency partners.

  • Support execution of paid media campaigns (Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads) with focus on performance and CPL optimization.

  • Manage web analytics, tracking and conversion optimization (form fills, landing pages, CTAs).

  • Monitor campaign KPIs and prepare optimization recommendations.

  • Ensure alignment between performance campaigns and messaging frameworks defined by the Manager.

3. Website & SEO Management

  • Oversee daily website updates, ensuring consistency of content, UX improvements and correct tracking implementation.

  • Coordinate SEO technical tasks with agencies (crawlability, metadata, speed, indexation).

  • Support content SEO/GEO (keywords, on-page optimization, internal linking) in collaboration with content roles.

  • Maintain UTM tracking standards, tag governance and reporting dashboards.

4. Congresses & Events – Operational Support

  • Execute operational tasks for Congress 360º strategy:

o Landing pages

o Lead capture systems

o QR tracking

o Post-congress automation

  • Manage digital assets and support coordination with vendors.

  • Implement follow‑up workflows and performance reporting.

5. Data, Analytics & Reporting

  • Build real-time dashboards (HubSpot, GA4, Looker Studio) to track performance of campaigns, channels and lead behaviour.

  • Conduct analysis of user journeys, conversion paths and funnel bottlenecks.

  • Translate analytics into actionable insights for optimization.

  • Monitor competition’s digital strategies in oncology research.

6. Cross-Team & Vendor Collaboration

  • Work closely with:

o Global Communications & Marketing Manager (strategy & supervision)

o Marketing Trainee (executional support)

o Digital Agencies (performance, SEO, creatives)

  • Ensure execution excellence and process documentation.

  • Support internal teams with CRM-related needs and insights.

💪 WHAT DO WE VALUE FOR THIS OPPORTUNITY?

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communication or related areas.

  • Master Degree in related fields highly valued.

  • 2–4 years of experience in B2B marketing operations, CRM/automation, or digital performance roles.

  • Experience with Dynamics 365 highly valued (or equivalent platforms with readiness to onboard quickly).

  • Experience in healthcare, biotech or life sciences highly valued.

  • Experience in Marketing Agency or Consultancy highly valued.

Skills

  • Advanced use of CRM (workflows, lists, scoring, dashboards).

  • Strong understanding of digital analytics (GA4, Looker Studio).

  • Knowledge of paid media platforms (Google Ads, LinkedIn Campaign Manager).

  • Familiarity with SEO fundamentals and website optimization.

  • Understanding of tracking standards: UTMs, events, tags, conversions.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.

  • Ability to work with cross-functional stakeholders in a small, agile team with minimal supervision.

  • Highly organized, detailed-oriented and process-driven.

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).

  • Proactive and committed to meeting quality standards and deadlines.

  • Fluent English and Spanish required.
